FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


 

 

How much do you charge?

 

There are many factors which determine the cost of your event. Please fill out the "check availability" form and select a package. A price quote will be instantly emailed to you.

 

How far in advance do I need to book a DJ? 

A.S.A.P.— Dates fill up quickly. We cannot hold your date unless you have verbally agreed to reserve our services, pending a signed contract agreement and deposit.

 

What kind of music do you have?

 

We have all different types of music styles. Including Rock, R&B, Rap, Disco, Hip Hop, Blues, Alternative, Hard Rock, Country, Gospel, Jazz, Bluegrass, Reggae, Mambo, Waltz, Polka, and Techno. If you have a special request for a certain style of music, just let us know and we will make sure and have it at your party.

 

What if I want the DJ to stay and play longer, do I need to tell you in advance?

 

If you would like for us to play past the contracted time, let us know at least 15 minutes prior to the end of the contracted time. Any overtime charges will be due at that time.

 

Is the setup and teardown time included in our agreed time frame?

There is no charge for setup time. Hours of service and music begin at the contracted start time. We arrive approximately 2 hours before the contracted start time to set up, and it takes approximately 1 hour to tear down.

 

What type of payment do you accept, and when is it due?

 

We accept Cash, Money Order, Paypal®, *Mastercard/*Visa/*Discover (*online via Paypal®). We do accept personal checks up to 14 days prior to the date of your event. Credit card and Paypal payments must be paid online via our online planner. We recommend that payments made through Paypal® be done prior to the event, as there may not be access to the internet at the event location.
*Final payment is due on the day of the scheduled occasion, before the start of the performance.

 

How do I make a payment online?

 

If you provided a password when you initially requested a price quote you would use that password and the date of your event to log in to your account. If you did not provide a password, you should try using your first name as the password. Once you log in, proceed to the "Make a Payment" button toward the bottom of the window. You will be taken to the Paypal® website where you will be able to either transfer money using your existing Paypal® account, or use your credit card that is not associated with any Paypal® account.

 

Do you require a deposit to hold our date reservation?

 

 We do require a $100 - $200 deposit which is due with the return of your signed contract to confirm your date reservation. The deposit is deducted from your total amount due.

 

Do you take requests?

 

Yes, we do. We try to play all the requests that time will allow, using our own good judgment and skills in knowing what is an appropriate song and when to play it.

 

Can you provide sound and music for our wedding ceremony as well as the reception?

 

We are able to provide music and sound for your wedding ceremony also. However, if the wedding and reception are not in the same area or location, then there will be an additional charge.

 

Do you make announcements, or talk during the party?

 

We do introductions, make announcements, and periodically introduce music selections and solicit crowd participation.

 

Do you have Karaoke?

 

Yes, Karaoke is an available option. There is an additional charge of $75.00 for a Karaoke setup.

 

Is your sound system adequate for a large banquet hall or an outdoor event?
           
Yes. We definitely have plenty of power to fill up a large area. We have Professional QSC audio equipment.

 

Do you wear a tux, or how do you usually dress? 

 

I do not wear a tux, but a business suit to all weddings. If your event is not a formal one, then I will dress accordingly.

 

Do we need to meet with you before the date of our event?

 

If you would like to meet with us in person, it can be arranged. Call or email us for details.
